New Store opening soon

AU2 & Bukit Indah New store will be opening soon. The date of open the AU2 is on 5th December while BUkit Indah will be opening soon on 19th December. Still have 6 days to go, then we will complete our mission in AU2 already.

Well, recently all are busying for the merchandise display in the store this few days. AU2 is not a big store, the AV department is quite small for this time set up, hence we were taken shorter time to complete all the display up to the shelve already.

Suppose i has ordered few units of new model of LG LCD, but it was due to the out of stock from the LG, then i forced to change another brand LCD to replace LG up to the shelve.

As usual, everytime after putting up all the LCD to the shelve, we do need to connecting all the Demo to the LCDs, it is quite troublesome actually everytime when we doing the set up for the new store opening. My finger all fully with wound during installing and connecting all the LCDs. The task wasn't easy to me.

This time new store open, fortunately we getting sufficient of the manpower to help us to putting up all the display, because the Audio merchandiser has left from jAsGo already, hence I do need to follow up his things in the new store set up also.

Hoohh..! tired..!

Conflicts begins with my Management

There is becoming so many of conflicts happening between my manager and i recently, Our department was one person has left, until today still havent have another replacement sofar.

Just last month, there is another person has tender his resignation letter to the manager again, and he will be leaving soon on this 23th November. Haih..! one person and one person going now, the taks is getting much and much until cannot finish. However the manager can never understand our situation that we are just a merchandiser only, we are doing purchasing, merchandise, marketing, sales, planning, sometime also need to do the auditing somemore..! Wow, one salary for us but doing for 3 person 4 person multi tasking in the office everyday.

New store are keep open and open again in the whole Malaysia, I really scary of the JASco opening the new stores 1 everytime, there will be a lot of preparation have to do, and then we still have to be stay in the new store to merchandise and display the LCDs and plasma to the shelve for few days. And the ordering, schematic plan, POP price label, Promotion planning, Special price for opening, all have to be get ready before the new store open.

Sometime i might overload the task and doing unperfect enough for another job. The manager always is only concerning that he need to attend to the merchandising meeting and he need to present of our department plan, hence he want us to be plan for the next year 25th Anniversary item, 52weeks merchandise, December best value item, CNY item, Christmas item, Jcard Day special.. it was so much so much of the job need be to done before he go for meeting for his presentation, all the top management want to listen to all our plan in the meeting.

Urghh,,! wat the hell with this..? now is only November, but now have to plan for the next year thing, how could it have a perfect planning for two month in advance..? The environment is keep changing everyday , the market is fluctuating everyday as well. TOday we plan like this, doesnt means we will follow all the same in the two month after.

Well, i couldnt get the 25th Anniversay item for him immediately, because the concept of the Anniversary item have to be 3 main reasons " Special feactures, exlusive only for JAsco, opening price to the market ". Hence i was kept pending pending and pending for quite many days also couldn't get him an answer, thus he was suddenly get the Hitachi supplier to offer him a very special LCD for this Anniversay promotion. However, when he agreed to Hitachi, i was suddenly found another better offer from Toshiba which is better margin and better selling price compare with Hitachi, and he was 50/50 duno how to choose. He asked why i didnt tell him early..! When he has promised to Hitachi, but he can't break his promise to Hitachi even though we knowing Toshiba is better choice compare with Hitachi.

Urghh, because i still discussing with toshiba supplier when he agreed to Hitachi, havent confirm the offer, how can i propose to him as the time too too too rush for me to get an special item for the next year Anniversary item in two month advance. Sometimes, i rather that i dont accept this offer and propose this Toshiba to my manager, then it will be save for me, then i dont need to be get scolded by him of late proposed to him..!

Many time i was found myself really cannot tahan to this position already now, although my position is an assistant merchandiser, but all the while doing for merchandiser's job, settle the problem to the 19 stores, settle the problem with 20 suppliers, and then have to be fulfill all the need from my manager, Haih.. really cant imagine that will be so overload the task that we do in JASco.. from the previous company no matter how busy, how tough that i do, but also never as tough as my current position.

Almost every month are seeing the people leaving from JASco, the turnover rate is really high over here as well. Hmm..! i can understand this situation lahh, many people are waiting for better offer from another company, that why they are all waiting patiently over here, once they getting better chances, and they will leaving immediately. Even my current department , all the colleagues are now waiting for the better opportunity from another company also..haha..!

Stock take month

There will be two time doing stock take in JAsco in a year. First time is on JUne and the second time in November. Well this month is the stock take month, thus we all buyers have to control to the inventory in our logistic and also our store side as well. The inventory cannot be over the limit hence it would be easy and convenience for us in the stock take tasks.

Every stock take month, the sales is doesnt seems to be so good due to all store are focusing on counting the stock and auditing to the inventory & also the turn over of overall stores in this month.

I was allocated to stock take in Wangsa maju store on this Thursday nite with AJIS. Ajis means "Associate Japanese Inventory stock take" the team which come all the way from Japan to Malaysia to assist us on stock take matter.

Normally they are doing their tasks in the midnite. They will start from 11pm until next day morning 8am. This is my first time of doing stock take in the midnite. Well, it wasnt nice to me of doing the stock take in the mid nite, coz it will be very very torture and tired to us that we were already used to sleeping during the nite 1`, but this time want us to work in the mid nite and we have to tahan until next day then only can sleep...! BAd bad bad..!

Time Goes by speedy..!

ONe week and one week passed very fast.. Everyday was just busy for the working in the office from morning 9am until 9pm. It is almost 12 hours working for me in my curent position everyday now.

Suppose i going back at 8pm or 7.30pm normally, it was due to the AON extended warranty was brought again the certificate of last year customer's extended warranty for me as a supporting document to the finance department in order to prove the payment for all this jAsco customer's extended warranty purchased in jAsco.

Wel, before i submit all this certificate to the finance department, i need to sorting up all this certificate according to store by store and serial number by serial number to the finance in order to easier their job. It might need to take time to completing all the sorting. There is no one can help me to sorting up all this certificate, hence i need to use my after working hours to settle this case for passed few days.

I hate doing sorting to all this certificate, because all this are not our merchandising side tasking, it suppose to be the auditing department to handle all this case mahh..! Haih, even though jAsco are a big company, however the manpower are never be sufficient to handle to all the case in the company.

Actually our merchandiser job is to sourcing for good merchandise and handling the ordering in the jAsco only, however sometime if the supplier are getting short paid of their payment, then we as a merchandiser also need to help them to solve out all this problem.

Haih.. we only can say that " Jus Go " is the one company with single salary to fully utilise and maximise all the tasks in the company, Wahh they really know how to minimise their costing to the company..!

I'm getting tiring to work in the company already, everyday also too much of the task that need me to complete it with very less timing for me. Everyday are just rushing all the job in the company. There is no more life, no more entertainment, lesser rest time, to me again since i joined to this company.


However, upgrading income have to wait until next year October, i duno whether i still can wait patiently to the upgrading until next year or not..!
