Section Meeting

Today are had a section meeting with all 18 stores AV section leader in Cheras Selatan store. We break it into 2 section. First section is to meet with the Audio merhcandiser, and after lunch the second section will be meeting with the Visual Merchandiser. Well, at the moment i still holding the position as an assistant merchandiser, thus i have to attend both meeting today. The section meeting is actually just to discuss about the counter measurement of all stores sales response and also to find out the problem solution to increase all stores GP. I'm new joining to AEON, hence today i can meet up with all 18 stores section leader in the discussion, and then i also can introduce myself to everyone during the section meeting.

Today was heard a bad news when i get back to the office from Cheras Selatan at 6.30pm. It was the time that all senior managers , managers and MD finished their meeting and walking out from the convention room. When Motomura-san came out from the convention room, he suddenly came to our place and then he told us that he will be going back to Japan on next wednesday for permanently already, We all was really shock when hearing from him. We wondering why is he want to leave? Motomura-san just tell us that he can't achieve the GP in our department, thats why he cannot stay long anymore. But he is working in Malaysia already 6 years, then now suddenly hearing him said want to leave and go back to Japan, all the staff are quite sad about his leaving. Even though i just joining this department about 2 months only, but i also feeling sad to heard this news from him. Motomura-san actually is a good senior manager in our company, he is always helping us in all the tasks, and he is rarely scold his staff and he is quite caring to his staff too. Now he want to leave, definitely got many people are feeling not very happy.

Anyway, this friday will be having a farewell with motomura-san by all our department staffs, and then we all wish him have a good career for him in future in japan.

New member join

Today is coming a new member to joining our Electrical Appliances team. She call Carol. Well, never thought that our department will have new member join again since i just join to AEON only one and half month only. WEll, the Home appliances are shortage of manpower, they actually want to get one people to help them on supporting job 1, but didnt found any suitable candidate until today. Finally got the suitable one already. Carol is actually just holding the job similar with me, as an assistant merchandiser to support our merchandiser, and reduce their job burden lohh...lolz. Myself recently are starting to handle the new suppliers and also assist on handling the old suppliers account to my senior when they are really engaged on others business. Most of the Jusco rules and Jusco procedure i'm still not very familiar with sofar, but my senior are keep giving me the opportunity to step forward to learn more and get more knowledge through experienced with the appointment from the suppliers . I'm feeling quite happy and also feel nervous because i worrying i will make mistake when every words i spoke to the suppliers. Duno whether i'm spoke to them is correct or faulty. But sofar, my senior are still monitoring me for all the transaction, then i can put down my tension a little bit.

Line Meeting in Cheras Selatan

Had over one month already to me with AEON CO (M) Berhad. I thought i will can't adapt to the office basis employment since i left from the sales line and join to the merchandising line in AEON CO (M) Berhad. And now my job is mostly just sitting in the office only, and sometimes will meeting with some suppliers and sometimes will go others outlet for store visit, and also every month will go others stores for the line meeting one time a month, to discuss about the J Card privilege and also the J Card day promotion for each every different stores in Whole Malaysia. well, I really learned a lot from here since i joined AEON until today had over one month already, but i still under probation now, still have 2 more months to evaluate then only can confirm. My last job's managing director was gave me a called on last week, but i can't remember is which day already, but i know is about evening 4pm something that he called me. Actually he called me just to asked how is my recent life in AEON only. I had almost one month didnt contact with him already since i left from Mileon Securelife (M) sdn bhd until today. We just had about 10 mins conversation on the phone, coz that time is my working hour, thus it not convenience for me to speak too long on the phone, my manager and senior manager are sitting very near to me mah... this the what japanese culture is, the whole team members should sit together in the office, so all the things if we want to discuss together it would be easier and better. There is no room for the managers, senior managers or even general managers. Only Managing director are entitled it..lolz

Last Thusday was my line meeting in Cheras Selatan store, duno why my gastic ache are happened again during the discussion in the line meeting that day. Urgghh..! hate it, everytime when i getting gastric ache again, i will feel very pain and can't put my self to concentrate on listening to all the point that we discuss in the meeting. My senior are saw i had my medicine inside the meeting room, but i didnt feel better even i had my medicine. Haih...very serious already my gastric problem, everytime i go to see doctor, all doctors is just saying is normal gastric problem, but how come everytime i had the medicine from the pharmacy, it also doent help anthing 1. However, when i had the medicine from the doctor, it seems to be recover faster than to eat the outside medicine 1. (blaming)@

Metro Prima JCard Day...

Today is the Puchong Metro Prima JCard day. Thus, today metro prima store are opened at 8am until 11pm. I was send to this metro prima store as selling floor assisting. Well, its not only me one person going there lahh, all the managers and my seniors was went to this JCard day as well. Mr Woon (manager) was put me at the afternoon shift, so i was work at 1pm to 10pm today. TOday is my first day went to the Jusco's JCard day. From previously, even all the stores' JCard day i also never go 1, its because of too crowded everytime during this day. I dont really love " congested " feel. I prefer normal day to go shopping, because when go to cashier also dont need to have long queue right.

I dont really have so much of Visual and Audio knowledge, hence i just being the helper to assist on selling floor only. Today our department sales was hitz the target already. Thus, we all are very relax..lolz. Our Visual department was sold quite many of DVD player, the Best selling was our Jusco brand " Basic " Dvd, coz we selling with RM99 and 5 % discount. Then the second best selling is LG with 5 % discount as well, and then Pensonic and Samsung DVD also with 5 % discount. However, Audio like " home theathe and hi-fi was not really good response. Visual was reached RM80k, while Audio is about RM8k only. Many people was saying this time JCard sales are not really good. All saying today's sales are very slow, i also not sure whether they saying is true or not, because this is my first time to participate on JCard sales mahh. Anyway, our department was hitz the target already, then we dont care others whether they got hitz or not lah...lolz

Today was so tiring, my foot & my leg was really painful. Maybe is too long didnt stand on the selling floor for such many hours already loh... Today suddenly stand for 10 hours, then must be not so adapt like previously lohh...
